BCA - DOZER 1T - Extendable Avalanche Shovel

The Dozer IT is BCA's most popular extendable avalanche shovel, designed for widespread use. All of BCA's latest Dozer Shovels feature oval-shaped shafts and low-profile, easily compactible blades. The front third of the blade provides a smooth surface for creating neat snowpit walls during snow stability assessments.

With BCA's flat "stomp edge," the blade can penetrate almost anything with added body weight. Auto-engaging spring pins at the connection of the blade and shaft allow for quick and hands-free assembly and deployment. BCA shovels can be placed flat in a backpack without any protruding parts, leaving ample space for other backcountry equipment.
