BCA - DOZER 2D - Extendable Avalanche Shovel with D-Grip

The BCA Dozer 2D is a medium-sized shovel with a D-grip handle, designed to provide greater control and comfort for individuals wearing mittens.

All of BCA's new Dozer shovels feature ovo-concave shafts and low-profile, "stompable" blades. Additionally, the front third of the blade is designed to create smooth, clean snowpit walls during snow stability tests.

With a flat "stomp edge" on the blade, users can easily penetrate any snow by using their body weight. The shovel also features auto-engaging spring pins for a faster and hands-free assembly and deployment process.

BCA shovels are designed to lie flat in your pack, without any protruding parts, allowing for more room for other backcountry gear.

Furthermore, all BCA extendable shovels meet the UIAA standard for avalanche rescue equipment.
