Line Sakana Skis 2027

The rebuilt Sakana keeps the surfy swallowtail feel of the original and adds a kicked-up tail for cleaner switch landings. A tougher build makes it ready for rails, side hits and spins as well as soft snow.

Who it's for: intermediate to expert skiers who treat the whole mountain as a playground and want a surf-style ski that can handle tricks.

• Thin Tip – Core runs through the tip and tail with a large bonding area to limit damage to minor edge chips
• Thick-Cut Sidewall – More sidewall over the edges for better resistance to rail impacts
• Carbon Flax Tape – Carbon adds stiffness while flax damps the harsh, pingy feel
• 5CUT Multi-Radius Sidecut – Five blended radii for a wide range of turn shapes
• Early Rise – Raised tip and tail for float in deep snow and fast edge grip on hardpack
• Directional Flex – Softer tip for easy turn entry, stiffer tail for control at speed
• Fatty Base & Edge – Around 30% thicker base and edges for durability and longer tuning life
• Biobased Resin – Resin with 31% biobased carbon content that bonds strongly in the cold
