K2 Niseko Pleasures Snowboard 2024

Drawing inspiration from the renowned Niseko region in Hokkaido, Japan, a paradise for powder and groomer enthusiasts, the K2 Niseko Pleasures snowboard is designed to deliver an exceptional riding experience. Developed with the input and approval of long-time K2 Snowboarding Team Rider Yo Amagai, this board is finely tuned for tackling powder and groomers with confidence.

The Niseko Pleasures is engineered for advanced to expert snowboarders and features a Bambooyah™ Pro Core, known for its smooth flex and durability. The biaxial fiberglass lay-up enhances responsiveness and control, while the fast Carbon Infused 5500 Sintered Race Base provides excellent speed and gliding performance. The board is equipped with waxable P-Tex sidewalls for enhanced durability and a SnoPhobic™ top sheet that sheds snow to keep you moving effortlessly.

Its tapered directional shape ensures that the tail sinks in deeper snow, while facilitating smooth turn initiation and exit for seamless edge transitions on any terrain. The wider-than-normal waist width, along with 20mm of taper, keeps the nose afloat, allowing for easy navigation and manoeuvrability in powder. The mid-wide shape of the board enables riders to downsize by approximately 5cm from their usual snowboard length without compromising float and performance.

• Biax Glass - A fiberglass weave intersecting at 90º angles provides the proper torsional flexibility and strength.
• Hybritech™ Sidewall Construction - A K2 exclusive. By transitioning from a P-Tex sidewall into a capped construction in the tip and tail of our snowboards, we can reduce waste while giving our snowboards better energy transfer and making them more durable than our competitors.
• Carbon Infused 5500 Sintered Base - The hardest, fastest, and the most wax-absorbing base we make, our 5500 Sintered Material gets carbon additives that reduce friction and glides smoother.
• Volume Shift™ - We reduce swing weight and toe/heel drag by shifting surface area from the tip and tail to the waist of the snowboard. Downsize from 4-10 cm from your usual snowboard length.
