Surrounding the core is the ICG™️ 10 Biaxially Woven Fiberglass with Carbon, which provides stability and snap during both the ascent and descent. By incorporating Carbon Fiber stringers into the fiberglass, the board gains liveliness without unnecessary weight or excessive torsional rigidity. The Sintered P-Tex sidewalls of the Marauder Splitboard are exceptionally durable, delivering a smooth and damp ride quality. They also contribute to reducing overall waste in the manufacturing process. The tough matte top sheet material helps keep the weight down, making it ideal for efficient travel on the skin track. The Sintered 4000 base is hard and durable, retaining wax effectively for extended periods of alpine touring. Understanding that backcountry touring can subject your board to harsh conditions, the Marauder Splitboard features a black material along the riding surface, allowing for seamless repairs after encounters with rocks or other obstacles.
