The Float E2-35 Electronic Avalanche Airbag from BCA utilizes an Alpride E2 supercapacitor system for energy storage, which powers the compressor upon deployment.
This system has been proven to perform reliably in cold temperatures, and is designed for quick and efficient release upon activation. It features a 40% smaller and 25% lighter E2 engine compared to the previous Alpride E1 system, and includes a 162-litre airbag. The TSA has approved the E2 for easy travel on airlines.
With the convenient Side Stash pocket and Back Stash zip, you can easily stay hydrated, change your hat/gloves/eyewear, or swap skins without stopping on the snow - just stash and go!
Additionally, for extended use in the field, you can install two AA batteries to allow for extra deployments. These batteries also help maintain the supercapacitors at full charge when not in use. Please note that while Float avalanche airbags are an
